Reese's peanut butter cup protein shake recipe

My husband was making a protein shake after the gym this weekend and asked if I wanted one. I said "no" because usually mine taste better (there I said it). He kept bragging about how delicious his protein shake tasted so I gave it a try, screaming "holy cow this tastes like a Reese's!" So I totally re-made it. This is peanut butter chocolate protein shake recipe is healthy, has a good amount of protein ands curbs your sweet tooth.

Ingredients:

  • 5 ice cubes (yes I know such a random number!)
  • 1 heaping scoop of chocolate protein
  • 1 small banana (we freeze ours!)
  • 1 tbsp creamy peanut butter, your favorite brand
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • 3/4 cup almond milk

Directions:

In a blender (we use a Vitamix Series 750 Heritage Blender), pour in all the ingredients, leave the protein and peanut butter for last. I like to add it last so it doesn't get stuck to the sides. Enjoy!

PS - My favorite peanut butter is Peter Pan Creamy Peanut Butter, but they don't sell it out here so I get it shipped in! Any other Peter Pan lovers?
