Flare Sleeve Sweater ((comes in 4 colors) | Jeans | Booties | Leopard ClutchLips: Kat Von D Liquid Lipstick in "Lolita" | Necklace

This week has been so crazy! I'm trying to pull together all the Black Friday/Cyber Week sales for y'all and figure out Thanksgiving because we're doing it at out house this year! Yup...I'm making a turkey...wish me luck! What are y'all doing for the holidays?

I recently purchased this bell sleeve top at Nordstrom because it just screams fall. And you bet I'll be wearing it on Turkey Day! You can wear this top several different ways this season. With jeans and booties or an OTK boot, or pair it with a black leather sweater. I loved adding a touch of leopard detail to pull the look together. Not to mentions, anytime I can throw leopard into the mix, I will.

Shift Dress + NYFW Giveaway

Y'all I'm so sorry I've been MIA lately, my shop and wife duties have kept me so busy that I haven't had time for blogging. Whenever I get out of a routine like this, I get uninspired to create content. Fortunately I grabbed coffee with a girlfriend yesterday and she inspired me to get my creative juices flowing again (thanks, Torrey!).

I couldn’t pass up this adorable shift dress from Nordstrom. The dress is so light weight and a perfect transition into Fall dress, which means you'll get plenty of wears out of this dress. I love the bell sleeves and how you can wear it with a belt, but also without one for a more loose fitting look. There's something about a dress with long sleeves that speaks to me, not only because I'm always cold, but you can wear them more often living in San Francisco.

I've had my eye on this dress ever since Emily Schuman from Cupcakes and Cashmere launched her clothing line in Nordstrom and Shopbop. I loved how it was the perfect dress to dress up or down, and can easily be transitioned from summer into fall. This Cupcakes and Cashmere Laurel chiffon shift dress is made with a sheer, ivory-colored material that's lightweight and great quality. I especially love the drop waist because it adds that flirty touch. This dress is perfect for summer with these sandals. But also perfect for fall when topped with a leather tailored leather jacket and booties. I'm not typically a dress girl, but this dress will be on repeat for me!

Emily Schuman founder and blogger of Cupcakes and Cashmere launched her fashion line at Nordstrom.com and Shopbop. She created 60 pieces that were inspired by California. This is her first round of three shipments, and I have to say that I'm loving these pieces. I love this military jacket, this classic striped top, sleeveless chiffon dressthis blue jumpsuit and this lace skirt. One of my favorite pieces is this pink coat, which I'm assuming is coming in the fall (fingers crossed).

London Time

LondonTime-33.jpg

We've been in London for the past few days and it's been a whirlwind of a trip as we're still adjusting to the London time. We're here for my husband's work conference so between meetings, cocktails and dinners, we've tried to cram in as much as possible since there is so much to do, and the time is not in our favor.

We landed around 1pm on Sunday so had the rest of the day to explore. These images are from our first day in the city. I'm completely in love with London and was 'that girl' stopping to take pictures of everything - it's just so beautiful and picturesque.

We headed to Covent Garden, then walked to Neal's Yard for some vibrant colors. Neal's Yard is down a small alley but so colorful and quaint. At this point we were hangry (not misspelled...hungry + angry) so decided popped into the cute spot called Homeslice for a few slices of pizza. It was so thin and delicious - I definitely recommend stopping in for a slice if you're in the area.

Our jet lag started kicking in and needed some caffeine to get through the day, so we stopped for lattes and crodoughs (for research purposes) in Timberyard Sevin Dias. Then continued on our walk to Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, and the London Eye.

After exploring we headed to Gordon's Wine Bar, which is the oldest wine bar in London. If I'm being honest it didn't look like much from the outside (pictured below) but the inside is a dark cave with candle light lighting , which was super cute and romantic. But after a 10 hour flight and jet lag setting in (aka it was making us tired), so moved outside to finish our bottle of wine. Then headed to Barbecoa for a Sunday roast dinner. If you're in London for a Sunday, you must eat a Sunday roast dinner.

The weather was dreary for the first few days (very similar to SF weather) so I knew I needed to layer. I threw on this Topshop cardigan (on sale) per my outfit to add some warmth. Then when the wind picked up, there on my Banana Republic trench coat. Both these pieces have been a staple in my wardrobe. The trench is great year-round in San Francisco.
