This week I'm so exited to collaborate with Dani, the creator and beautiful woman behind Drafts and Crafts. Dani is a lifestyle blogger in Northern Virginia and has a super cute Esty shop that you should totally check out! Blogging has connected me to so many amazing people - and crazy enough Dani and I actually went to high school together in South Florida and have reconnected through our blogs. We're both now married and enjoy fashion, crafts and baking so this collaboration made total sense. After all,  it's always nice to see a familiar face, even when your thousands of miles away!

Gingham is the hot topic today, which is why we put our heads together and decided to show how the east coast and west coast wear gingham print with a pop of yellow. You'll notice that the east coast is more preppy and polished while the west coast is more relaxed and edgy. I'm really digging gingham for spring, the checked cotton fabric was popular in the '50s and '60s by icons like Audrey Hepburn and has finally made a comeback. Gingham is easy to wear and can be feminine, flirty, and worn so many different ways: loose-fitting dress, full skirt, cropped top, and matching separates to name a few.

Be sure to check (pun intended) out how Dani styled our gingham print with a pop of yellow on the east coast, and then how I went about it!  How do would you gingham?
